- All the beaches in Sorrento were pebbly which was unsuitable for my younger siblings. We got a taxi to Meta and went to this beach which was sandy, not the best sand but still sandy. It has volcanic sand and was a well organised beach with hundreds of loungers, parasols and deck chairs for rent.
