Segni e sintomi di sarcoma
- Nodulo o rigonfiamento di diametro maggiore di 5 cm.

- Dolore osseo.

What is the prognosis for intestinal cancer?
- The 5-year relative survival rate for people with stage I colon cancer is about 92%. For people with stage IIA colon cancer, the 5-year relative survival rate is about 87%. For stage IIB cancer, the survival rate is about 65%. The 5-year relative survival rate for stage IIIA colon cancers is about 90%.
Is Gist cancer curable?
- GIST (Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor) Recurrence. GISTs are considered to be highly treatable, and in most cases, the tumors are small, nonaggressive and can be controlled through surgery or a combination of surgery and targeted therapies. Even so, the cancer can potentially reappear within the gastrointestinal tract or elsewhere in the body.
What is the prognosis for gist?
- GIST has been found to run in only a dozen or so families in the world. Historically, the 5 year survival of patients after removal of a primary GIST is approximately 50-60%. However, survival has now been markedly improved by the development of targeted chemotherapy (see below).
Is small intestine cancer serious?
- Small intestine cancer is a serious disease. Aside from the pain, discomfort, and fatigue that it causes and the chance that it could come back even after successful treatment, some people with small intestine cancer have a low 5-year survival rate.
